UTLA’s historic strike is in its second day and the outpouring of support from educators, parents, students, unionists, community leaders and elected officials locally, nationally and around the globe has been phenomenal. CTA is collecting signatures of support and messages of solidarity for educators in UTLA and Oakland Education Association (OEA), with more than 3,100 allies submitting their words since last week.

The widespread solidarity shown with striking L.A. educators is evidence that the world understands just what’s at stake in this battle. These voices of unity are on display here to inspire UTLA teachers who are putting it all on the line, as well as educators in schools across California and the U.S. who make a difference for students every day.
