October is National
Higher Education Month, a time to highlight and celebrate the dedicated and
inspiring faculty and staff who help students pursue their American Dream through
higher ed.

The NEA Representative Assembly first designated the special
month in 2018 to provide opportunities to build bridges between pre-K-12
educators and students, and their higher-ed colleagues and institutions. NEA
has compiled a
variety of resources about higher education, ways to
advocate for higher ed resources, best practices for teaching and
learning, and opportunities to stay connected about news and issues
affecting faculty and staff.
