In July of 2021, CTA/NEA-Retired member Gloria Pedretti reached out to CTA/NEA-Retired. Her request was to establish a scholarship program for potential educators seeking elementary or secondary credential certification. Dedicated to Gloria’s former students and made possible by her very generous donation, this scholarship ($1,500 each) provides assistance to those pursuing a Pre-K through 12th-grade credential through an accredited institution of higher education.

Applications for the Pedretti Scholarship are often advertised and made available through CTA Aspiring Educator chapters at colleges and universities. Applications may also be accessed by contacting CTA/NEA-Retired at CTA-Retired@cta.org.
