Application Guidelines
Nominees should be active members devoting their time, energy, and expertise to promoting teacher participation in the political process.

What political activities has the nominee performed which would qualify for the Member-In-Politics Award for the 2023 calendar year?

Information should include any or all of the following: (Be specific. Attach any additional supporting materials at the end of the application.)
1. Getting members involved in political activities.(Required)
2. Involvement in statewide CTA legislative/political priority activities in areas such as school finance, political campaigns, and initiatives.(Required)
3. Involvement in local CTA priorities such as campaigns of endorsed candidates, school board elections, political training workshops, legislative newsletters, or organizing chapter political action committees.(Required)
4. Involvement in partisan and/or non-partisan political activities at the local, state, and/or federal level in campaigns of "friends of education" or "education-related issue campaigns," including personal candidacy for public office.(Required)
