Our Leaders
Many people recognize the name of CTA President David Goldberg, but our legacy of presidents goes back to 1892! Over the years, the list has grown to be more diverse and reflective of our state of California, with the election of the first woman president Mary Stewart Rhodes in 1958, the first woman of color president Lois Tinson in 1995, and the first Hispanic president, David A. Sanchez in 2007.
